Before you get started:
Before you can take your new e-bike on the first ride, you have to do a bit of basic assembling.
For this particular bike you will have to assemble your bike with:
- Front wheel
- Pedals – IMPORTANT: Remember to check what pedal goes on what side – If you try to screw in a pedal on the wrong side of the bike the thread will become crocked and you will not be able to use the pedal.
You should also charge your battery before going on your first ride and check to see if the tires are fully inflated.
For safety, you should consider wearing a helmet whenever you take your bike out for a ride.

What to look for when buying an electric bike?
When buying an electric bike there are a couple of things to be aware of. Depending on your needs, you should look at Motor and speed, how fast are you expecting to go, and are you looking for a bike you can take off-track or are you only planning on riding in urban environments?
How heavy is the bike? An electric bike is almost always heavier than a regular bike, mostly because of the battery and motor. If you have to put your bike away every time you have ridden it, you should carefully consider buying one of the lightest models.
Design of the bike: Again it is very much depended on what you are using the bike for. Do you need the bike to be easy to mount and are you most comfortable sitting upright when biking, or do you prefer a mountain bike style.
