RMB Libert-E Review
The RMB LIBERT-E ELECTRIC TRIKE is a great tricycle for elderly people. Sitting comfortably and without having to worry about keeping your balance you can take your bike for a nice ride. The RMB LIBERT-E differs from other electric bikes in a significant way: The motor powers both front- and back wheels. Because the power is distributed evenly the bike has great traction and safety.
RMB LIBERT-E is not the fastest of electric bikes with a top speed of only 11 Miles per hour, but you can be sure to arrive at your destination safely and comfortably. The bikes come with a large basket, which is included in the price, so you can use your bike for transporting groceries or you can even put your pet in the back.
As mentioned the RMB is a very comfortable bike to ride. The seat is wide and cushioned, along with the front shock absorbers; this will ensure you a smooth ride.
The range of a single charge will vary depending on how much you are using the motor. You can use the RMB in many different ways, as it is possible to rely solely on motor power, solely on pedal power, or a combination of the two.
Assisting the motor by pedaling will increase the range of the battery, while also giving you a workout. You can pedal as much or as little as you want and are able to. However the more you pedal the longer range the battery will have. If you are worried about not having enough range, you can purchase a spare battery to take with you, when going on longer trips.
The terrain and the weight of the driver will also impact on the range of the battery.
Charging the battery
When charging the battery you can choose to remove the battery and take it with you or you can charge it while it is still attached to the bike. This is really handy as it provides a lot more freedom for the user. If you are at home simply charge the battery in your garage or bring it indoors with you. Visiting friends or family you don’t have to rely on them having somewhere to charge the battery outside, simply bring it inside with you.
How steep an incline the bike is able to do ranges between 13-20 degrees depending on weather or not you are relying solely on the electric motor or if you are also pedaling the bike. The weight of the driver will also be a factor.
Having received your RMB LIBERT-E it does require some assembly before you are ready to hit the road. If you are not comfortable with assembling the bike your self, you can get assembled at a certified bike shop.
- Assembly usually takes around 60-90 minutes.
- Always charge the battery fully before using the bike for the first time.
- All required tools and material are included.
